Full support during the approbation process
Dentists, who have received professional education in a non-EU country, and plan to practice their profession in the Czech republic, must prove their medical fitness, integrity and successfully pass approbation exams, in accordance with § 34 paragraph 2 of Act No. 95/2004 coll.
Approbation in the Czech republic involves
- Nostrification – official recognition of the validity of an authorization obtained abroad
- Written exam –verification of professional knowledge, knowledge of the healthcare system and the basic knowledge of law in connection to provision of the health care in the Czech republic.
- Praxis – completion of six months of professional praxis under the direct professional guidance of a qualified dentist in an accredited facility.
- Oral exam – verification of professional knowledge before a committee
